INSPECTION RECORD LABELS
Inspection Record Labels are a means of identifying towers in places where there are a lot of towers in use. Say you are on a site with dozens of similar towers in use, how do you know which tower has been inspected and which one has not. To solve this problem, the PASMA Remote Inspection System supports special “smart” labels that can be attached to a tower and scanned during the inspection process. This label then uniquely identifies that tower for the duration that it is assembled.
Inspection Records labels have a red and a blue side. Put the red face on the outside if the tower is not safe to use!
To use Inspection Record Labels, the process is as follows:
- Complete tower assembly and take a Inspection Record Label
- Log into the Mobile App (app) and start a new inspection for the correct Project and Site
- In the “Inspection Record Label” section of the New Tower page tap “Scan QR Code“, this will activate the camera on your phone
- Point the camera at the QR code on the Inspection Record Label
- The QR is now recorded
- Complete the inspection
- Fit the label at eye level to one of the frame verticals on the tower. If the tower has been inspected and is deemed safe to use by authorised personnel, then place the blue side outwards. If the tower after inspection is deemed unsafe for use, place the red face of the label to the outside.
