ADDING A PROJECT

Projects have the following function:

  • They allow you to group a series of Sites where towers are used
  • They allow you to manage who will have access to towers on these Sites

So if you for example work with external contractors and you only want them to have access to a certain number of inspection records on the system, you need to use Projects. But projects are of course also very useful if you have a lot of towers and you want to make it easier to see which towers are which.

Adding a project is simple. Log into the Inspection Management Console (IMC) here, and then go to Projects. Then Click “+ CREATE” to add a new Project.

Some things to note:

  • Give the project a suitable name (not too long) that people can easily identify when there are several Projects on the go
  • If you manage more than one Organisation on your IMC, you need to select the correct Organisation to which this Project belongs
  • You need to decide whether you allow your Mobile App (app) users to add Sites via the app. If not make sure you switch this feature off in the Project. In that case you will need to add Sites via the IMC.
