RE-INSPECTING A TOWER
Access towers should be regularly inspected to make sure they are still safe to use. As minimum towers should be currently inspected every 7 days. The mobile app will automatically alert users of any towers that were last inspected 7 or more days ago. A re-inspection for a specific tower may also be requested from the Inspection Management Console (IMC), or at anytime the tower user feels it is necessary to do so.
If you get a notification to re-inspect a tower, you can tap the notification to go directly to that tower. Alternatively you can see which towers require re-inspection in any of the tower lists.
To re-inspect a tower, in the Tower Details page simply tap “Start New Inspection“. Depending on the Inspection Mode of the Project, you will then either go directly to the Inspection Checklist or, in case inspections are completed in the IMC, to the Inspection Summary page . You will be required take one or more new pictures of the tower.
Altering a tower
When you alter the tower such as changing the height, you also must re-inspect the tower. However, in that case, since the tower details will need to change, you should add a new tower in the app and mark the “old” tower as dismantled.
