THE “VERIFICATION” INSPECTION MODE
If you have a requirement to ensure all tower inspections are double-checked, then the Verification Inspection Mode is ideal. It allows employees or contractors to complete tower inspections (and checklists) on the Mobile App (app) and will then require approval by a second person in the Inspection Management Console (IMC).
You have the option to implement this mode in two ways:
- When the tower has been assembled and inspected, users can then use the tower immediately, but will be signalled (via the app) to stop using the tower if the person who verified the inspection discovers an issue
- When the tower has been assembled and inspected, users must wait until the person who verifies the inspections has “given the green light”
Both these scenarios use the same Inspection Mode as described below. For this to work you will need to have registered an account.
- Log into the IMC, and set up an Organisation by going to “Organisations” in the menu and then click “+ CREATE“. You can of course skip this step if you have already done this.
- Once added, on the Organisations page click “EDIT” and then the “USERS” tab.
- Click “+ INVITE USERS” to add the employees who will be using the app. If you have a lot of employees, you can select “Multiple Invites” and use a CSV file to upload your employees.
- If you work with freelance contractors or subcontractors, then please check the appropriate sections in the User Manual for more info.
- Consider the Projects you need – go to Projects and click “+ CREATE” and set up your Projects
- Depending on your preference, you can either allow your employees to add sites themselves, or you can add them from the IMC only.
- In the Project select “In app checklist (approve in console)“
Your employees, freelance contractors or subcontractors will now be able to accept the invitation to your Organisation and start adding towers to the Projects they have been invited to.
Tower inspections are not automatically approved, so in this Inspection Mode someone will need to use the IMC to approve (or reject) inspections that are coming in.
