THE “SPOT CHECK” INSPECTION MODE
If you are confident that your employees assemble towers correctly, then this “mode” is ideal for you. It is the simplest to manage and allows your employees to go about their normal business without needing to get approval for their tower inspections. In this mode, checklists are completed in the app and inspections are then automatically approved and inspection records are kept in accordance with the regulations. You can then use the Inspection Management Console (IMC) to do spot checks or periodic audits of your tower inspections.
To set this up from scratch, create an account (if you haven’t already done so) and then complete the following steps.
- Log into the IMC, and set up an Organisation by going to “Organisations” in the menu and then click “+ CREATE“.
- Once added, on the “Organisations” page click “EDIT” and then the “USERS” tab.
- Click “+ INVITE USERS” to add the employees who will be using the app. If you have a lot of employees, you can select “Multiple Invites” and use a CSV file to upload your employees.
- Create one project – go to Projects and click “+ CREATE“
- Leave “Checklist Type” as “In app checklist (automatically approve)“
Your employees will now be able to accept the invitation to your Organisation and start adding towers to your project. They can add sites they visit. Of course you can add additional Projects if needed. This can help if you are using towers at a lot of different Sites.
Tower inspections are automatically improved, so in this Inspection Mode there is no need to use the IMC other than to do spot checks or for audit purposes or to add or manage Projects and employees.
